Hi, I’m Missy, the heart and hands behind every wax melt and wickless candle you see here. Each piece is carefully hand-poured by me and made with love, intention, and a passion for creating cozy, comforting moments in your home.
After losing my job of 21 years, fear quickly set in. I care for my disabled elderly aunt, and my husband and I are raising two young grandchildren. I truly had no idea how I was going to support my family. After much prayer, I realized God didn’t close a door to leave me stranded—He closed it to open another. So I’m taking a leap of faith in myself and turning my love for candle-making into something meaningful.
As you get older, reflection humbles you. I’ve always been the “menace” in my family—if there was a bad choice to be made, I made it; if there was a lesson to be learned, I learned it the hard way. I was definitely not someone anyone expected much from. Having everything in life I ever wanted and losing it in the blink of an eye sometimes makes you lose yourself. That experience taught me that tomorrow is never promised and to cherish old friends—they know you for who you are, not just who life makes you at times.
Luckily, God blessed me with the best little sister anyone could ask for. She saw who I was on the inside and knew that all I ever wanted was to make my kids proud to call me Mom and help others make wiser choices than I did. She believed in me during times when I didn’t believe in myself, and not everyone is that blessed.
Because of my sister’s faith in me—and my faith in God—my goal for this business—and for 2026—is to focus on paying it forward: helping others, lifting people up, and spreading blessings, love, kindness, and positivity. I hope my story reminds others that the hard times they are experiencing are just a chapter in their book, not the whole story—and that they are worthy and enough. I trust that if I do my part, God will do the rest.
When you purchase from my small business, you’re not only helping me support my family—you’re also helping me help others in need. From my hands and heart to your home, thank you for being part of this journey.
